From the Hip is an independent video and photography production company based in the Surrey hills, just outside Farnham. With a client list spanning multinational corporations to ambitious small businesses, they create advertising and marketing content that genuinely connects: visually sharp, commercially smart, and built around what each client actually needs.
Having steadily grown their reputation and client base, the time came for a complete rebrand, one that could hold its own alongside the quality of work they produce. The brief was clear: capture everything that makes From the Hip distinctive. That meant finding a visual language for their warmth, their wit, their technical precision and the easy, collaborative energy they bring to every project.
Working closely with the From the Hip team, we developed a striking, playful brand identity with a flexible palette of colour combinations, designed to work as dynamically across their clients' content as it does on their own materials. The brand feels confident without being corporate, and creative without losing its professional edge.
From there, we designed a website to match. Strong on presence, clean in execution, it leads with their work, giving their portfolio the space to speak for itself, while weaving in the personality that sets them apart. The result is a brand and digital home that feels unmistakably like From the Hip: down-to-earth, highly capable and quietly excellent.
